DONATE TO JUVENILE DIABETES ~

          Juvenile Diabetes is the Fraternal Order Of The Eagles main charity.  Juvenile Diabetes can be any type, but the most common is Type 1.  In this form of diabetes, the cells attack the pancreas.  Insulin is essential in maintaining diabetes.  Maintaining blood sugar level, receiving the important care, and following an important diet is necessary in the care of diabetes.  Many children with any form of diabetes, especially type 1 which requires more care, do not have the necessary insurance, materials, or money needed for care.  Institutions are constantly searching for a cure, alternate care methods, and seeking donations to help those in need.

DONATE TO THE HOMELESS VETERANS ~

          Men and women have fought for our country for a century; still fight for our country.  Because of these courageous people, our country is the most free of them all, we are safe, we have never been destroyed, nor have we endured the horrible reality of a true war fought on our land.  They deserve our utmost respect, support, and living incentives for their sacrifices, family's sacrifices, hard work, dedication, victory, and the repercussions of those actions.  Sadly, this is not always available to the veterans in our country.  They are denied housing, jobs, medical care, government assistance, and medical insurance.  The veterans have been fighting both personally and through the government to amend these injustices, but have had no luck.  It is the citizens' right and responsibility to help support those whom have helped to protect yours and your family's lives. 

Salvation Army Services ~

        The Salvation Army donates to many people for many different reasons.  They offer food, shelter, utility cost, food vouchers to grocery stores, clothing, finding housing assistance, tragedy assistance, counseling, church services, spiritual guidance, programs for the youth, christmas gift assistance, housing and personal supplies, cash assistance, and support charities around the country.  As the organization is non profit and all workers are on a volunteer basis, our support and help is needed.  The Salvation Army depends solely on private, federal, state, and local grants, as well as private donations.  Help them help others by donating to their worthy cause!

DONATE TO THE FRATERNAL ORDER OF THE EAGLES OPERATION EAGLE ~

          The Fraternal Order of the Eagles has Aeries across the United States and Canada.  All clubs are non profit.  The club's motto is "people helping people" and they stand by the motto by supporting their local communities, charities across the nation, and providing community events and activities, as well as nation wide events and activities.  Membership dues, donations, and a small percentage of gambling and sales contribute to their ability to help.  Donations from members, non-members, and aspiring members are welcome and accepted.  Help an organization which helps people all across the country by donating now to the Operation Eagle fund!

DONATE TO THE NATIONAL ANNUAL CHARITY OF THE MONTH ~

          The annual charity for the month of February is Heart Disease.  This is often also called cardiovascular disease and causes when plaque builds up in the arteries.  Heart attack, stroke, heart valve malfunction, and heart failure can result in this disorder.  Constant care and medical attention, medicine, and lifestyle changes are essential in maintaining and possibly curing these diseases.  Many patients can not afford the care and medicine due to lack of medical insurance, insufficient medical insurance, or resources.  Medical facilities and doctors give these patients discounts, free care, and offer financial assistance to those in need.  Some patients receive government assistance, medical assistance, donations, help from their families, and help from their medical facilities; but this isn't always enough.  Your donation will help provide these patients with the necessary care they need and the institutions to continue to help those in need and work to find better treatment and cures.

          Can't decide what charity to donate to, but know you want to help?  Send the Fraternal Order Of The Eagles F.O.E. Number 727 in Kersey, PA your donation amount and we will pass the donation through to our current charity of choice.  All charitable organizations are voted on by any member who attends our bi-monthly meetings.  We support national organizations, but focus mainly on our local organizations, community charities, and any private individuals in need.  For a list of our current charitable organizations, click the learn more button.

DONATE TO THE KERSEY EAGLES BUILDING FUND ~

          Many repairs our needed to not only get our building up to code, but to make it functional.  We are looking to re-do the outside, improve the inside, repair the upstairs bar for functions, and to rebuild a fire escape so we can use the upstairs.  As a non-profit organization, we depend mainly on the small percentage of revenue allowed to us from the gambling and product sales, member donations, volunteer work for functions, as well as volunteers for any maintenance work.  Any donation is welcome and greatly appreciated!
